Texas Women in Business (TWIB) Administrator

Job Description

 

The main objective of the TWIB Administrator is to assist all of the Board of Directors in any capacity necessary to aid the non-profit organization. Such duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Outlook mailbox daily

  • Answer and return phone calls from TWIB cell phone

  • Collect mail from mailbox on a weekly basis

  • Attend the majority, if not all, of the TWIB events, such as:

  • Board Meetings (first Wednesday of every month): take notes to give to the Secretary

  • Happy Hours (can change, 2nd Thursday of every month): bring the two TWIB signs & manage the registration sign-in & name tags at entry

  • Luncheons (changes, but 3rd Friday of every month): bring the two TWIB signs, manage registration sign-in (including credit card machine for walk-ins) & have name tags as well as assist Programs Director with speaker, etc.

  • Power Hours (quarterly): bring the two TWIB signs, manage registration sign-in (including credit card machine for walk-ins) & have name tags as well as assist Education Director with speaker, etc.

  • Manage Member Find Me (MFM) for all new members, expiring members, event setup/registration, etc.

  • Manage MailChimp by adding all new email addresses obtained at all events and adding all new members received in MFM, etc.

  • Assist Events Director in setting up all happy hours, including promoting and marketing them via MailChimp, adding in MFM, Facebook events and Meetup

  • Assist the Events Director with the annual TWIB Anniversary party in any capacity necessary, typically in September and called the Extraordinary Women’s Awards and Birthday Bash

  • Assist Programs Director with speakers at luncheons, including requesting and receiving any documents, PowerPoint presentations, etc. for the luncheons.

  • Assist Educational Director with speakers for Power Hours, however needed.

  • Assist the Educational Director with the annual Educational Conference (typically in May, called Amazing Women’s Educational (AWE) Conference) in any capacity necessary.

  • Assist Marketing Director in any way needed, including promoting TWIB in Ads, for all events via MailChimp, FB events, MFM and Meetup, etc.

  • Assist Membership Director with updates to membership, promotion of membership, etc.

  • Assist Ambassadors Director with any document updates, etc. needed in order to facilitate the Ambassadors group
