We had so much fun last Friday for our monthly educational luncheon! In case you missed it, here is a recap!
Things kicked off a little earlier than usual, because we had out new-member orientation. We had members of the Board come in and discuss some of the roles that they and their committees have to serve TWIB. We had two spectacular vendors on site. Shannon Burl came out and showed off some great merchandise that she offers through Thirty-One Bags, and Mary Hey with Hey Health and Wellness was also out with a line of products designed for vitality.
Our speaker, Steve Zbranek, provided an excellent program that was centered around the way we interact with our customers. Mr. Zbranek works in designing and constructing custom homes, but his extensive expertise can be applied to anyone who engages with their client base. Some of the highlights included approaching interactions from the customer’s perspective and handling the inevitable mishaps we all face in business. He gave great examples of instances where what could have been a negative experience instead cultivated customer loyalty by the way these situations are handled. They ranged from making an exchange at a home-improvement store to working with car dealerships. It was very insightful and was appreciated by everyone in the audience.
