2017 Awards Gala and Benefit Dinner

Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of Austin Women in their industries and raise money for the center for child protection.  this is an important event that highlights how far we have come and where we can invest moving forward.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

What's included!

Ticket prices include dinner, drink tickets, seating for the awards ceremony, and entertainment. Grab your co-workers, your date, and your friends!  All ticket proceeds will benefit Texas Women in Business, a 501 (c)(3) and fundraising activities will benefit The Center for Child Protection.  To register for the event, click here.

FUNDRAISING opportunities

We are looking for volunteers and donations!  If you have products or services you would like to contribute to the raffle, we would love to hear about them.  If you would like help facitilate the fundraising efforts, let us know!   We have lots of opportunities to give back.

Recognition

We will have a short awards ceremony that recognizes women who have demonstrated exceptional qualities.  We have closed nominations, but the nominees will be recognized online and at the ceremony.  Awards to be given include:

-Entrepreneur of the Year:

An Austin area female entrepreneur who has made a difference in other women or girls lives. She is a business owner who lives and runs her business with high values and standards, contributing to the local community and non profits, helping other business owners and/or her staff to develop, sharing her skills and inputs for the benefit of others.

-Corporate Woman of the Year:

An Austin area corporate (including Government and non profit) employee who makes a difference in the lives of her colleagues in the business or in her networking groups, who contributes to non profits, the local community or women’s/girls groups.

-Young Woman of the Year: 

A high school junior or senior, or college student, who has contributed exceptionally to school activities, her local community, and philanthropy or girls groups over the past year. She will have “made a difference” in others lives.

-Community Member of the Year: 

An Austin area woman whose actions make a major difference in the lives of others in her community, school district, non profits or family.

-Philanthropist of the Year: 

An Austin area philanthropist who has made a major difference to local charities or non profits through time, talent or treasure provided.

-Texas Women in Business Rising Star

For members of Texas Women in Business only, this award highlights the achievements of our members who have shown leadership within the organization!
